The Vision from the Lord
In November 2011 the Lord began to give McAbee Ministries visions on starting a new ministry. These visions were met with many questions, not doubts, that were answered from the Lord. The Lord has revealed to us the need to start a Missionary Aviation Ministry. This new ministry opportunity will be based out of Asheville, North Carolina and will allow for us to continue living in this area, maintain our current employment and allow our children to remain in their current schools. Our family and staff will be completing extensive training during the next several months and we ask that you please pray for us during this time.
Purpose
When missionaries are called to go serve in different areas of the world the first emotional experience they may have
is the feeling of being overwhelmed. The next hurdle is raising support and having to relocate. The last piece is trying to get transportation to their destination and getting their belongings and supplies transported. Look to the Skies Aviation is being developed to assist missionaries in the burden of traveling and transporting their supplies to the mission field. Our ministry also wishes to provide air travel for those who are in need or cannot financially support their travels.
Ministry Vision
The name "Look to the Skies Aviation" was inspired from Isaiah 51:6, "Lift up your eyes to the Heavens." Our ministry vision is to:
- Glorify Christ
- Spread the Gospel
- Assist missionaries in traveling
- Transporting missionary supplies
- Working with local churches to transport staff
- Provide low income families air travel
- Provide medical patient travel
- Provide relocation during natural disasters
- To train up-and-coming missionary pilots.

Phase I
Need: Kenny McAbee will be training for his Commercial Pilot License; which is required to transport passengers
Cost: $25,000 estimated
Time: Hopefully be completed by July, 2012
